Web MD

WebMD is a great resource for Children’s Health. A recent article offered tips to help prevent Kid’s colds and Flu.  We can keep germs away with two tips: good hygiene and a flu vaccine.  The best way to prevent catching and spreading germs is regular hand washing-especially before eating meals. Teach children to sneeze or cough into a tissue or their bent elbow- NOT their hands.  Keep hand sanitizer within reach.

Getting a flu vaccine is the second way to keep germs away.  Speak with your child’s Doctor about the flu shot at their next visit.
